What is Rhetoric

The dictionary definition of rhetoric is the art of speaking and writing effectively. Rhetoric is more of a persuasive type of writing and speaking, backed up with factual evidence. You want to be able to prove your point as much as possible  The use of figures of speech are used a lot in Rhetoric. Rhetoric helps you understand the ability to use language, along with persuasive speeches.
