The first paper
for Rhetoric talks about your profession. Students need to meet with people
from their specific major and ask questions to benefit their understanding
about that major. While meeting with the person of choice, each student is
asked to analyze different writings that pertain to that specific field. By doing so, the students will get a feel how writing
varies with different majors. For example, a doctor would write differently than
an elementary teacher because of the audience they are presenting to. Each profession
has a different style of writing, depending on their specific focus of study.
For this specific
assignment, when we interview people, can it be over the phone?
